Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they live.
The Open Enrollment application timeline for the 2025-2026 school year is 8:00 a.m., February 3, 2025 through April 30, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason.

At the January 27, 2025 School Board Meeting the Board approved the number of new Open Enrollments seats available for regular and Special Education for the 2025-26 school year. On February 24, 2025 the School Board approved an additional 10 seats in 4K.

- There are no Special Education seats available for Grades K4-12.
- There are 5 seats available for Speech and Language only for Grades 9-12.

FAQ:
If grade levels have available space, currently attending Tuition Waiver students and siblings of Open Enrollment students will be considered from a waiting list. All other applicants will be considered after currently attending Tuition Waiver and siblings of currently attending Open Enrollment students.
Wisconsin State Statute on open enrollment students and attendance:
Wisconsin statute 118.51 states that if a non-resident school board determines that a pupil attending the non-resident school district under this section is habitually truant during either semester in the current year, the non-resident school board may prohibit the pupil from attending the nonresident school district the succeeding semester or school year.
