ALVERNO SCHOLARSHIP-ATTENTION SENIOR GIRLS WHO IDENTIFY AS AFRICAN-AMERICAN/AFRO-LATINA/BLACK! |
Alverno College will offer up to 20 full-tuition scholarships to Black women who meet the following criteria and exhibit a strong desire to serve as leaders in their communities:
*This scholarship is for anyone who identifies as African-American, Afro-Latina, or Black
*High school graduate in 2021 *Demonstrated record of academic success
*Admissible to Alverno College (at least 2.3 GPA)
*Clear evidence of civic and/or community engagement in high school, community and/or place of worship
*Ability to discuss intended college major and career goals
*Successful interview with the selection committee
Scholarships are renewable for up to four years based on full-time enrollment, satisfactory academic progress, active engagement in all program activities and opportunities, and successful progress toward four-year degree completion.
THEY HAVE 11 SEATS LEFT AND THEY ARE TEST OPTIONAL THIS YEAR (you do not need to submit ACT scores this year).

Norwich University is proud to partner with the National Science Foundation to offer new students who major in one of six STEM fields (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, neuroscience, math or physics) the opportunity to compete for a National Science Foundation-funded scholarship. Scholarships are valued up to $4,000 for a first year student, can increase in value during each successive year a student remains eligible, up to a maximum value of $10,000 per year. |
