All Greenfield High School juniors will take the ACT with Writing on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 as part of the Wisconsin State ACT test administration. No classes will be held on this day. This is an important test for our juniors and we want each student prepared to be successful.
Students will be completing the ACT online this school year and will need to bring their fully-charged, school-issued Chromebook to school on March 11th. Students who do not have their school-issued Chromebook with them will not be able to take the ACT on March 11th and will have to do so on a make-up test day.
Items students should bring on the test day:
- Fully-charged, school-issued Chromebook
- Photo ID
- ACT-approved calculator
- Writing utensil(s)
Per national ACT testing rules, cell phones may not be out at any time during testing or during breaks. Students who access their cell phone at any time during testing or breaks will be dismissed and not allowed to complete the ACT.
On testing day doors will open at 7am with students entering through Door 21. Students will have access to breakfast and will wait in the cafeteria until dismissed to their testing rooms. Testing will begin at 8am and any students arriving after testing has begun will not be allowed to take the ACT on March 11th and will have to do so on a make-up test day.
After completion of the ACT, students will leave the building promptly. Any students who ride the bus or who may need to wait for after-school activities may do so in the cafeteria. School buses will depart at their regular time, approximately 2:40pm.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Sarah Griffie, Assistant Principal and ACT coordinator, at 414-855-2413 or sgriffie@greenfield.k12.wi.us.
