We understand the stress, confusion and uncertainty that the current health situation and closure of the schools has placed on everyone. While you are at home, your primary resource is your parent/guardian, but we are here and accessible to you.

Welcome to the school counselors page at GMS! The members of the counseling staff are here to support and enhance the academic success for all students. The school counselors consult and collaborate with teachers, parents and administrators to assist students in their academic, career and personal/social development. We are here to support our students and families as they grow throughout middle school and transition on to high school.
School Counseling Classroom Curriculum
Classroom activities in the areas of academic, personal/social and career development.
Individual Student Planning
Includes Individual Learning Plan development, transition services, and parent and student conferencing.
Responsive Services
Includes crisis counseling, consultation, individual and small group counseling, conflict resolution, and parent/guardian contact and referrals.
System Support
Involves consultation, collaboration, professional development, and program management and operation.
