| Free District-wide Pre-School Screening Program on March 10, 2012 |
| Parents will have the opportunity to personally evaluate their children's growth, developmental milestones, and readiness to enter four-year-old and five-year-old kindergarten at the upcoming Pre-Kindergarten Age School Screening (PASS) program. PASS is free and open to all parents and their children who reside in the School District of Greenfield with children aged three or four who have not yet attended four-year-old kindergarten. PASS will take place on Saturday, March 10, from 9 AM to 2 PM, at Maple Grove Elementary School. Maple Grove is located at 6921 W. Cold Spring Rd. |

| Glenwood School Sock Drive |
| A sock drive for the homeless is being held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., by the Glenwood Elementary Home and School Association. King, whose life and legacy is celebrated in the month of January, once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"

| Nearly 50 local families had a happy holiday season, thanks to the Greenfield High School National Honor Society and all those who made donations during the annual Holiday Sharing food and toy drive. |

| GHS Hosts Anti-bullying Seminar with Author and Bullying Survivor |
| New York Times best-selling author and bullying survivor turned activist Jodee Blanco will deliver a bullying survival and prevention seminar to the community from 7 to 9 PM, Tuesday, March 6, at the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public and families are encouraged to attend. |

| Acclaimed Storyteller to Perform at GHS Performing Arts Center |
| Internationally acclaimed story teller Dr. Patrick Ryan will bring his unique blend of whimsy, culture, history and folklore to the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 3, 2011. The time of the event is currently being determined. This event is sponsored by the Greenfield Education Foundation.

| Greenfield High School will host the first Community Services Department Wiffle Ball Blast tournament from 9 AM to 9 PM,

| Wood Bat Tournament Returns in July 2012 |
| Greenfield High School will host its Second Annual Wood Bat Shootout Youth Baseball Tournament on Friday, July 6,
Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8. A rain date is scheduled for Monday, July 9. The tournament is open to U11, 12, 13

| Greenfield High School educators have scheduled the 2012 graduation date for 2 PM, Saturday, June 9, to better serve students and their families. Traditionally, graduation is held on the last day of school. |

| Facilities Rental Opportunities |
| School District of Greenfield rooms, athletic fields, swimming pool, Performing Arts Center, and other indoor and outdoor facilities are available for rent to community and other organizations. Rates are reasonable and the facilities and fields are in excellent condition.
