Gold House Weekly Update
Upcoming information:
Friday, Jan. 13: CFA in science. Topics are Newton’s 1st and 2nd Laws, Friction and Gravity. Students have a word list to use to prepare a study guide.
Monday, Jan. 16: No School
Friday, Jan. 27: GHS Counselors will visit GMS to meet with 8th grade students
Monday, Jan. 30: GMS 8th grade students attend evening orientation at GHS (starts at 6:00pm)
Notes from the teachers:
- Starting January 23rd, the Gold House will no longer be sending home grade reports. Student grades can be accessed at anytime through https://campus.greenfield.k12.wi.us/campus/portal/greenfield.jsp If you need log-in information, please contact the front office at 414-282-4700.
-As the year progresses, we are noticing some students are running low on supplies. Please replenish supplies like notebook paper and pencils.
- Anyone having difficulty with getting the Achieve assignments for science class can find the article name and a copy of the comprehension assignment on Mrs. Klewer’s web page.
- Save the date! The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will take place Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 8:30 at GMS.

-The Gold House teachers will continue to ask that agendas be initialed or signed nightly. Agendas are then checked by study hall teachers.
-Achieve 3000 articles will be assigned each week by various teachers. Students are to complete this assignment at home, unless internet access is unavailable. Parents/guardians, please contact a study hall teacher if this is the case.
