In an era when an increasing number of students are dealing with significant challenges, class sizes are growing, resources are dwindling and demands for educator accountability have never been greater, teachers must use the most effective instructional strategies in order for students to be successful. To stay current with the most productive instructional strategies, technologies and techniques, teachers need high quality professional development. That need is the impetus for the new School District of Greenfield Teacher Academy.
American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Greenfield High School Aug. 3 & 4
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life will take place at Greenfield High School Track and Field from Friday, August 3 at 6 PM to Saturday morning, August 4. The Relay for Life is an overnight team event that provides an opportunity to honor cancer survivors and remember those who have battled cancer. This event will help monetarily support the American Cancer Society.
Greenfield High School Student Art Exhibit
The Greenfield High School National Art Honor Society will host the Annual Student Art Exhibit on Wednesday, May 30, from 5:30 to 7 PM. Admission to this free exhibit will take place in the art rooms and hallways. Craft and bakery items will be sold during the event.
School Board Seeks Citizen Representative

Wood Bat Tournament Returns in July 2012
Greenfield High School will host its Second Annual Wood Bat Shootout Youth Baseball Tournament on Friday, July 6, Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8. A rain date is scheduled for Monday, July 9. The tournament is open to U11, 12, 13 and 14 teams. Please access the link above for more information.

Show your support for the fine arts with a monetary donation to the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center. For a tax deductible donation of $150 to $1,000 or more, your family, business or organization will be recognized by the Greenfield Education Foundation on a permanent plaque in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center.
