Graduation: A Formal Event |
Graduation is a formal event and in order to minimize distractions, we ask that graduates and guests refrain from using cell phones, noisemakers, beach balls, balloons or other distracters.
Appropriate attire for girls will be dresses, skirts, slacks, and blouses. For boys, dress slacks and shirts with collars are required.
In all cases, jeans, sandals, flip-flops, stilettos, platform heels, boots, tennis shoes and athletic shoes will not be acceptable.
Each graduate will receive six (6) general admission tickets at graduation practice.
A reminder that tickets are required for guests to enter graduation.
Immediately following the graduation ceremony, proceed to the cafeteria where your diploma will be available for you to pick up. Your diploma will not be mailed to you. If you don’t pick it up on June 9th, it will be available in the Main Office over the summer.
This is an important document that you may need in the future. We do not keep a copy of your diploma. Replacement cost currently is $35.
All obligations, including books, must be cleared before your diploma will be released.
Orders were taken earlier this year. Graduation announcements, caps and gowns were distributed at the Graduation Meeting on April 19th. If you did not attend the meeting on the 19th, your order is available in the main office. Be sure to remove your gown from the bag and hang it up. No decorations of any kind on the cap and/or gown will be allowed. Caps and gowns should not be altered in any way, including, but not limited to cutting, dyeing or writing on them. Underneath the gown, all students should be dressed appropriately for this formal occasion. No shorts, jeans, or swimsuits will be permitted. In addition, footwear should be formal and not include tennis shoes, Crocs, flip flops or beach sandals. If there are any problems, please contact Mrs. Redlinger at (414) 281-6200, ext. 2552 or Ms. Hauser at ext. 2569.
