What is Open Enrollment?
Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they live.

The Open Enrollment application timeline is 8:00 am, February 6, 2017 to April 28, 2017 at 4:00 pmLate applications will not be accepted for any reason.

The School Board determined on January 23, 2017 there will be no seats available for the 2017-2018 school year under Open Enrollment in grades K4, 3, and 5-12 grades.  Available seats were determined in:

1 seat in K5 at Glenwood Elementary
6 seats in grade 1 at Elm Dale Elementary
seats in grade 2 at Maple Grove Elementary
2 seats in grade 4 at Elm Dale Elementary and
1 seat in grade 4 at Maple Grove Elementary

If there are grade levels with available space, currently attending Tuition Waiver students will be considered from a waiting list.

The School Board also approved the recommendation there are no seats available grades K4-12 for special education students.

 New Wisconsin State Statute on open enrollment students and attendance:
The new Wisconsin statute, 118.51, states that if a non-resident school board determines that a pupil attending the non-resident school district under this section is habitually truant during either semester in the current year, the non-resident school board may prohibit the pupil from attending the nonresident school district the succeeding semester or school year.
