Fight for Air Climb takes JROTC to the Top

Members of the Greenfield JROTC participated in the annual "Fight for Air Climb" on Saturday, March 18th at the US Bank Center in downtown Milwaukee.

The GHS cadets & leaders rose to the challenge of climbing Wisconsin's tallest building - 47 floors and 1,034 steps to the top, all in an effort to fight lung disease.

Some interesting facts about the event:
*About 3,400 participants, individuals and teams participate each year in the event sponsored by the American Lung Association.
*The average climb time is under 15 minutes.
*The event is open to anyone, with climbers from age 6-85, including many fire fighters and first responders who climb in full gear.
*Similar climbs take place across the nation, but the Milwaukee one is the biggest!

Great job by our cadets for supporting a worthy cause and representing GHS in a positive manner in the community!
