2017 School Board Election Information

Two School Board Seats are up for election on April 4, 2017 - Thomas Frohna and Pam Sierzchulski

  • Official Notice of Election 2017  
  • Filing period to declare candidacy is from December 1, 2016 through 5 p.m. on January 3, 2017
  • Greenfield School Board candidates are not required to circulate nomination papers
  • The term of the office for a School Board Member is three years beginning on April 24, 2017
  • Annual compensation for Board members is currently $4,500
  • If there are more than four candidates, a primary election will be held on February 21, 2017
  • Please note that if an incumbent candidate fails to file the notification of non-candidacy and fails to submit required ballot access documents by January 3, 2017, all other candidates will be provided an additional 3 days to file the required ballot access documents. The deadline for candidates in this situation will be extended to 5 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017

Forms

Candidate information packets including the above campaign forms and other election information may also be picked up at the Administrative Offices located at 4850 South 60th Street in Greenfield from 9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. except on January 3, 2017 we will be open until 5:00 p.m.  The office will be closed on December 26, 27, 30, and January 2.
